Meet 4 CITs who can help you reach EMDR Certification

Hello Reader,

The CIT Collective is off to such a strong start, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to 4 incredible Consultants-in-Training who are committed to growing as EMDR Consultants. Each of them is EMDR Certified and brings years of clinical experience to the table.

These CITs are approved to provide consultation hours that count toward your EMDR Certification. Remember, EMDRIA allows up to 15 of your 20 required hours to be completed with a CIT, which means you can complete the majority of your hours with one of these amazing consultants-in-training.

Take a moment to get to know them below, explore their specialties, and if one feels like a good fit, reach out to them directly to get started!

Meet Yesim Saldivia "Yish"

Yish is a holistic grief and trauma therapist based in Colorado and works with adults with a history of trauma, especially attachment, relational and childhood trauma.

Often her clients are high achievers who struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing and perfectionism.

Yish implements Somatic therapy and Internal Family Systems into her EMDR sessions. She has been trained in EMDR since 2008 and has her own private practice.

Meet Elaine Evans

Elaine is an IFS Trained EMDR Certified therapist and Consultant-in-Training. She specializes in working with high-achieving individuals whose life looks good on paper but doesn't necessarily feel that way inside.

Many of the clients she works with have childhood wounds that are fueling insecurities, unhealthy coping strategies, and dysfunctional relationships.

She uses a blend of IFS and EMDR to help clients experience relief and finally feel fulfilled. Elaine offers individual consultation as well as group consultation for groups of 4.

Meet Amanda Moore

Amanda is based in Texas. She is an LPC and an Approved EMDR Consultant-in-Training with a specialty in working with Christian women navigating trauma, anxiety, and spiritual disconnection.

Her approach to consultation is warm, collaborative, and human. She'll help you think through the emotional, relational, and spiritual layers that make this work so meaningful (and sometimes so hard).

She believes good consultation doesn’t just sharpen your skills - it helps you stay connected to your spirit, faith, and voice as a clinician. If you’re looking for a space where you can be both competent and curious, where your love for Jesus isn’t separate from your clinical growth, and where it’s safe to say “I’m not sure what to do here”—you’re in the right place.

Meet Rebekah Taylor

As an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant-In-Training, Rebekah provides consultation for EMDR therapists who are building their foundational skills and working toward EMDRIA Certification. Her approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in practical clinical experience.

She will help strengthening your fidelity to the EMDR protocol, increasing your confidence in each phase of the standard protocol, and exploring how to integrate EMDR with other tools and interventions that align with the AIP model.

While her clinical specialties include dissociation, narcissistic abuse recovery, and religious trauma, her primary goal in consultation is to help you feel competent, confident, and ready to use EMDR effectively with a variety of clients. Rebekah offers a safe, encouraging space for learning, reflection, and skill development as you progress toward certification.

She offers consultation appointment in the evenings and possibly Sundays.
